The owners of this yacht were planning on making a trip around the Great American Loop. Therefore they recently made a substantial investment in the following equipment in order to run their air conditioning unit(s) at night without the need to run the generator:
Major upgrades to the electrical system
The (2) 12volt 80Ah batteries were replaced with the following :
(2) Epoch 12volt 460 Ah Lithium LiFeP04 Batteries (total of 920Ah)
A Victron Multiplus 12V/3000 Inverter Charger (Can have Solar MPPT added)
A CERBO GX with 5" Tech display screen
A Victron BMV720 Battery Monitor
An ARCO Zeus High Energy Bluetooth Alternator Regulator. The port engine alternator was converted to an external regulator.
All equipment was professionally installed by a local marine electrical company.
The media system was also upgraded. Additional equipment replacing the original electronics are:
Fusion Radio on helm, in cabins, and in salon.
JBL sound system with remote speakers in salon. Bluetooth remote enabling connection to televisions in both cabins and the salon.
A new Gen 3 Starlink satellite system was installed as well allowing both internet as well as streaming services to be received and sent from the yacht.
A new Samsung Microwave/Convection oven replaced the existing microwave oven in the galley.
A Splendede washer/dryer combo was installed under the steps going down into the galley.
Approximately $2,000 of additional spares including filters, belts, zincs, etc. will remain onboard the vessel to be used by her new owners.
Note: A new set of bronze propellers are also on board as a backup pair. These are not included with the purchase price of the vessel but are negotiable with the purchase.
Because the owners of this vessel were preparing to circumnavigate the eastern portion of the United States on the Great American Loop they had the following service work performed this past spring:
- Seafire System was inspected and serviced
- One of the two Raymarine Axiom 12 RV displays was replaced
- A new helm cover replaced the old one
- As stated elsewhere, a 1000 hour service was performed
- The bottom along with all the underwater gear was recently painted
- The Bimini canvas was replaced and new window panels were constructed
- New anchor chain replaced the old one with 50 feet of chain and 150 feet feet of 3 stranded line
- A new" Dingy Butler Davit System was installed on the swim platform of the yacht with an electric motor to lift the dingy out of the water
- Five (5) new AGM batteries replaced the old batteries
